Few players and teams master all of the principles and skills of serving, but those who do are more likely to attain top ratings in state, area, national, and international competition. Many are average and some are good, but all should constantly strive to be the best. Every part of volleyball is important to the game, so whatever you are doing—serving, passing, spiking—work at it, concentrate on it, and be the best.
